    Here’s what worked – and what didn’t

The charming atmosphere creates a relaxing getaway! Breakfast is an absolute highlight, featuring a delicious Full English cooked to perfection!

Squeaky floorboards made for uncomfortable nights! Confusion about check-in times left us unsettled during arrival.

    characterful room
    check-in confusion

The location was ideal, nestled in a 15th century farmhouse surrounded by stunning views. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and offered a delightful ambiance. The characterful and comfortable room added to the homely feel of my stay.

The check-in process was somewhat confused, which added a little stress at the beginning of my visit.

    comfy beds

    missing wardrobe
    cleaning issues
    pest problem

Comfy beds, clean environment, and freshly prepared breakfast featuring local fruits and poached eggs stood out during the stay.

No wardrobe in the room left clothes hanging, while dirt behind the picture frames indicated lack of thorough cleaning. A strange aftershave smell affected the room, and outdated snacks were found in the dining area. there were flying ants near the garden chairs, impacting the overall experience.

    Perfect little getaway

We spent 2 nights in Katrina's room and loved every minute. The views from our window were stunning, and the in-room breakfast service was a big bonus. Sue really made our stay special with her charm. The only bummer was no wardrobe, which made unpacking a bit of a hassle.

    delicious breakfast
    peaceful surroundings
    unattractive parking view

Had a lovely stay with a delicious breakfast that fueled our mornings! The garden area was perfect for sipping coffee and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Just a little bummer that the parking spot wasn't the prettiest view from the room. Don't miss out on the breakfast—it’s a fantastic start to your day! 😊
